  “She’s…where she should be,” Tyler said.

  Wade and Somer seemed to understand immediately, even though Mya and Yesenia didn’t.

  Tyler could feel the traces of a goofy smile on his face but there was nothing he could do about that. While he’d been in between dimensions he’d been able to see the infinity of possibilities, not only for his own life but for his friends as well. He could see now that the many worries surrounding his transplant had been holding him back. He’d been focusing far too long on staying safe and not enough time living.

  Like ripples in the water, he seen where his own life could lead go if only he chose correctly. Not only were health and monetary success entirely within his reach, but so was true love. He’d even seen when and where he would meet his soulmate and what she looked like, and he loved her already along with the children he knew they would create together. All he had to do was go after them.

  The knowledge was fading fast though. All that Tyler had learned while in the hereafter was becoming a vague memory. Apparently you weren’t allowed to retain the knowledge, only the feeling. But that was enough for Tyler, and he sent up a silent prayer of thanks for being able to even glimpse such things. Because now he was ready to break out of the restricted protocols he’d been living and drop in wholeheartedly to who he truly was meant to be.
